This is the final call for papers for this year's edition of History of Meteorology (volume 5). Papers on all aspects of history of meteorology accepted. Please send papers to the guest editor Sam Randalls (s.randalls@ucl.ac.uk) by 1 October 2009. Style guide and submission guidelines.

Announcements
A beta version of the Bibliography of the History of the Atmospheric Sciences is now available (data from 1983-2004 is accessible). Editor Brant Vogel asks for help with citations in languages including: Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Czech, Polish, Korean and Arabic.
Recent Publications
Just published: Weather, Local Knowledge and Everyday Life: Issues in Integrated Climate Studies, edited by Vladimir Jankovic and Christina Barboza (Rio de Janeiro: MAST, 2009). Features 29 papers presented at the ICHM's meeting in Rio in May, 2008.
