Luigi Iafrate is a geographer specializing in History of Meteorology and Historical Climatology. He is a researcher in Historical and Geographical Meteorology at the Papal Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum) and the European University in Rome (Università Europea di Roma), as well as at the Meteorological Office for Agriculture (Unità di Ricerca per la Climatologia e la Meteorologia applicate all'Agricoltura). He is a lecturer in History of Meteorology and Historical Climatology at the European University in Rome with regard to the Master in Environmental Sciences. He is also a teacher in Geography and History in secondary school.
