Peter Heering is senior lecturer at the physics department of the Carl-von-Ossietzky Universitaet Oldenburg and member of the research group on 'Physics Education/History and Philosophy of Science'. My research interest is focused on late eighteenth/early nineteenth century experimental practice. In this respect I am among others interested in lightning rod research and research on atmospheric physics.
