Maurice Crewe's Biography
Now retired after more than 40 years as a Meteorologist, the
first 20 dealing with military aviation.After a spell in technical administration
I spent nearly 6 years on operational research. The last 14 years I was responsible
for the National Meteorological Library & Archive at Bracknell.
As a member of the Royal Meteorological Society I have been associated with
the History Group since 1984 and I am on the editorial Board of Weather. In
addition I have produced newsletters for many years for the Library, an art
society and currently for the R. Met. S. History Group, and
have published several book reviews. I computerised two Occasional Publications
for the History Group.
My wife, Pat, and I have been actively involved in family history for many years,
with our own research and transcription of records andbelong to four Family
History Societies.
