writes: Thank you for the welcome.
Actually, I still don't have a personal web page, but I hope
this won't last too long. In the meanwhile, let me introduce
myself in a few words. I am a researcher in the history
of science, and have been working in this field for the last
sixteen years. Yet, my Ph.D. degree is very recent,
from the last year. The thesis is in the history of
meteorology, as the title suggests: "Nice weather, meteors
at the end of the day; a history of meteorology in the
middle of the nineteenth century through the writings of
Emmanuel Liais." I am preparing a paper in English with its
main ideas to be published, or maybe to be presented in
the next meeting of the ICHM. And instead of my web page, I
send you a link to the Museu
de Astronomia e Ciências Afins
in Rio de Janiero where I am working now. With my best regards, Christina Barboza
