Many of us are just back from the International Congress
of History of Science in Beijing, China where the ICHM
sponsored a symposium on climate and history (SC15), a
number of papers on meteorology (SS8), and participated in
the World History of Science Online (SC2). The Chinese
participants (now new friends) were very gracious, hosting
us for a number of memorable meals and a tour of the
impressive Chinese Meteorological Agency. We were also the
dinner guests of the China Agriculture Museum. Special
thanks and best wishes to Zhang De'er, Jian Liu, and Xing
Chen.
